VIP Motorcycle Cover Review

August 1, 2008 by · 2 Comments

The guys over at sent me one of their VIP Motorcycle Covers and asked me to check it out. Now just so you guys know I do not use a cover, I have a garage and besides that my bike hardly sets still long enough to be covered. I know there are a lot of folks out there that either do not have a garage or store their bike over the winter, the VIP cover would be a great product for you folks.

Even though I do not personally use a cover on my bike I would recommend the Empire Covers VIP Motorcycle Cover to anyone looking for a cover to protect or store their bike.

“It’s cheaper overall to own and maintain a motorcycle and parking is cheaper,” said Vance, 25, adding that if he were to use a motorcycle, he wouldn’t have to pay to park on the streets of Arlington, Va., where he works.

Vance, a resident of Arlington, recently completed a course in the Rider School at Howard Community College, which teaches novices how to properly and safely handle motorcycles.

The Motorcycle Riders Foundation reports that language similar to the HIPAA loophole-fix language contained in HR 1076 may be offered by the bill’s sponsor to a piece of legislation being worked on by the US House Energy and Commerce committee, as previously reported by the MRF.

While we are not privy to private negotiations between committee leadership and the bill’s sponsor, we are cautiously optimistic that language that would be of benefit to motorcyclists would be included.

The MRF has been aggressively lobbying committee members and staff to encourage this.
