Danville, VA – WERA motorcycles usher in VIRginia International Raceway’s spectator race season for 2009 with their March 21-22 race schedule.
“We’re looking at a really great 2009 season at VIR,” said track general manager Josh Lief. “Kicking off the season with WERA’s great motorcycle racing is a fine start for the year. We invite all our fans to come out and help us welcome the new race season.”

The Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals are Friday through Sunday at Virginia International Raceway in Danville, Va. Some of the best motorcycle road racers in the world will take on VIR’s 2.25-mile North Course.
“We’ve gone all out to make this the best and biggest Kahuna yet,” event promoter and M1 president Cameron Gray said in a news release. “With the addition of the Vanishing Species baby animal exhibit, the new Ducati Hypermotard test rides, myriad vendors, live music by the K.O.D.E. Friday and Saturday evenings, plus stunt riding, great food and drink and the racing, this will be a weekend you’ll be able to bring the entire family to enjoy.”

Big Kahuna Nationals AMA Superbike Event At VIR Gets A New Sponsor
