Set back with VA HB374 helmet bill
Date: Tuesday, February 17, 2004 @ 07:14:05 EST
Topic: ABATE of Virginia

We did not make it out of the House of Delegates - the vote was 48 to 51. This is really hard. We made it out of a HOSTILE Transportation Committee. We fought and tried so hard. So many people put so much into it. Y'ALL are included in that group. Thanks to each and every single one of you.

Bikers in Virginia are not finished yet!! We're going to take a little time and digest this. And then we're going to figure out what we need to do differently next year. And then we're going to get busy and do what we need to do. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. And we LOVE a good fight ;-)

Thank you again.

Penny Adams
ABATE of Virginia South Fork Chapter Secretary
MRF Virginia State Representative
