There is a new motorcycle shop in Suffolk. Boyce Performance Cyles located on Kings Highway in Driver. Just a few minute ride from I-664 at the Portsmouth Blvd. exit. Boyce Perfromance Cycles is a GO FAST - BIG HORSEPOWER shop specializing in high performance modifications to American V-twin Motorcycles.
I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Eddie Boyce the owner and primary wrench and I can tell you he has a true passion for everything motorcycle. He has been riding and wrenching on bikes since 1967.
Eddie retired from the Norfolk Naval Ship yard after 35 years and started working on bikes, mostly for buddies, out of his garage. He has been building and modifying high performance V-twin motors for the past 6 years just as more of a hobby and something to do with his time. In that time he has built up a loyal customer base. Just recently he decided to take his hobby to the next level by openning a shop of his own.

Boyce Performance Cycles is a family run shop. Eddie and his son, Jason, both run the shop and wrench on bikes. When I stopped by to talk to Eddie his son has not yet come on full time yet.
The shop is not just about performance, even though that is really what they like to do. They are set up to do services, repairs, custom work, and insurance work. The shops labor rate is $55 an hour. They will also work on any bike but are most familiar with American V-twins - Evo, TwinCams, and Shovelheads.

The shop is an authorized dealer for Zipper Performance and Redneck Motorcycles. Eddie has several other associations in the works. The shop does not currently have a large inventory of parts and accessories but Eddie is planning to change that soon. Until then he can have just about anything you want or need in just a day or two.

Monday - Friday: 12 PM - 7 PM
Saturday: 10 AM - 3 PM
Sunday: 12 PM - 3 PM
