The annual Rain or Shine Motorsports themed rally and expo celebrates this its 2nd year, August 6-7, 2005
The 2 day Roar will rally in Post Falls, Idaho at the Greyhound Park Events Center.
The Roar 2005 will again entail all aspects of the Motorcycle lifestyle, from the sights and sounds of THE ROAR to the full blown thunder of The Motor City Madman himself TED NUGENT. The Roar 2005 will feature a vendor row, Bike Builders, where some of the northwest’s sickest bike designers will display their latest creations and lots of retail dealerships participating in an
all brands menu from all over the globe.
Additionally, there will be vendor displays and features associated
with the motorcycle owner’s lifestyle.
A buffet of 2 wheeled deserts.
The Roar 2005 will feature, free motorcycle parking inside the event, food, Sunday morning services, Full Beverage Service and concert arena with late afternoon concerts by some of the biggest Classic Rock Talent in the world Featuring on Saturday HARMS WAY, GREG ROLLIE OF SANTANA FAME and TED NUGENT, while Sunday’s line up smokes with JUDE BOWERMAN, THE TOMMY CASTRO BAND AND ELVIN BISHOP.
In addition for the 2005 menu The Roar is featuring Quick Throttle Magazines ride in Bike Show featuring it all from Ride In to Best of show where lucky winners have the chance to win everything from merchandise to Cold Hard Cash!
Sunday August 7 features a Motorcycle Rodeo which challenges riders to an entire genre’ of riding skills and games, but this ones for the big boys and girls because you got to be 750 cc’s or better, coordinated by none other than longtime rodeo promoter Keith Nunn who’s success with the Springdale WA rodeo has led to the creation next year of a formal motorcycle rodeo circuit.
One of the most exciting dishes this year is The Chopper Dolls Fashion Show which promises
to truly kickstart your heart.
The Rides, The Rock and The Roar, to, during and from the event and where better than over 1200 miles of beautiful North Idaho Scenery, The Roar 2005 will feature the popular ‘Taco Chic Salsa Run” and other pre-planned rides from an hour to a full day with remarkable destinations on back roads and major highways reaching clear up to the Canadian border.
Some rides will feature poker runs and others will be coordinated for charity.
Event planners will plan in conjunction with local motor sport clubs
many additional activities outside the festival grounds as well.
The Roar 2005 will give back,
This event will donate portions of its proceeds to charity and is happy to proudly welcome back the Pacific Inland Candlelighters and Cancer Patient Care.
Also this year The Roar will instill a presence from the “STAR” program,
Idaho’s license and endorsement education courses.
The Roar 2005 will be one of the few 2 day open brand nationally promoted lifestyle events in the northwest.. the Motorsports industry is eager for an opportunity to become part of the regional motorcycle culture and the destination from most major population centers is the perfect ride.
The venue is adjacent to I-90 for early riders on their way
to the Sturgis Rally, August 8-15 this year.
