It's time to celebrate! The official Biketoberfest 2004 event is only days away!!! Why wait? Bikes of all kinds are ALREADY lining up along Main Street and Beach Street and merchants are ready to get it started!
The kick off events get started this weekend! Check out the "Official" Biketoberfest Web site at www.Biketoberfest.org for early arrival and expanded event details. Plus you can still book hotel rooms for the early dates beginning October 15th on line. Although limited for the "official" weekend, some hotels still have rooms available which can be found by clicking here or you can call the Daytona Beach Area CVB at 1-866-296-8970 to speak with an operator who will be happy to help you find the perfect location. And don’t forget about camping as the world famous Daytona International Speedway hosts the popular Buffalo Chip event in the infield. Top-named entertainment at "the Chip," includes Jackyl, Blue Oyster Cult and Edgar Winter.
While in town for the event be sure to make your first stop at DAYTONA USA, where you'll find the Official Biketoberfest Visitor Center. We've got the "Official" event 411 waiting for you in our FREE pocket guide as well as FREE event posters and a plethora of FREE area information to help you plan your event visit. Remember to pick up a wallet card for next year's Biketoberfest too.
Then head on out into the Daytona Beach area for lots of fun and some great southern hospitality! We've been working hard to bring you one of the best events ever. If you like bikes and people, you will certainly be entertained as folks from all across the country on every kind of bike imaginable are expected. In fact people watching is one of the main events! You may even notice a few celebrity faces among the crowds, such as the guys from Orange County Choppers or even Elvis! Look for the popular OCC crew who will have themed bikes on display and two merchandise trailers set up, right on Main Street. Paul Sr., Paul Jr., Mikey and Vinnie are scheduled to be on hand for autographs and photos throughout the weekend. And you're bound to see something that looks like Elvis somewhere, right?
More and more events keep being added to the list everyday so be sure to look for up-to-the-minute information on expos, displays, vendors, and more activities throughout the area by clicking on the Events section of the www.Biketoberfest.org site.
And what would an event be without "Official" merchandise! Look for our logo t-shirts and head gear all around at popular retail outlets such as Publix and Wal-Mart. This year you can also quench your thirst with Biketoberfest Bottled Water or pick up a 15-month 2004/2005 Biketoberfest calendar to remind you of all the fun year-round! You can also get the gear on-line at www.Biketoberfest.org by clicking on the Merchandise section.
