The Motorcycles Riders Foundation (MRF) is an organization that has been fighting for the rights of America's motorcyclists since 1987. The MRF lobbies against unfair motorcycle laws and fights discrimination against riders. They promote motorcycle safety, motorcycle awareness, and lobby for federal funding for our national motorcycle safety agenda. They are completely focused on making our riding experience safer, while gaurding our constitutional rights.
There is now a way for Central North Carolina riders to thank this important organization. The first annual Raleigh Rights Rally will be held on Saturday, February 28th in Raleigh North Carolina.
This rally will be a polar bear run to raise money for the MRF. 100% of the profits will be donated to the MRF. Prizes will be given out at the prize stop (Ray Price H-D). There will be 20 chances to win a prize. Prizes range from flashlights and T-shirts, to motorcycle toys, sweatshirts and fishing poles. This will not be like many runs where only two people win a prize. Numbered tickets will be sold for $15 each and you will have 20 chances to win one or more prizes. The run will stop at three Raleigh bike shops (Team Power Sports, Ray Price H-D, Twin Specialties). This will be a fun day of ridng and will benefit a great cause. Many of us contribute and attend various runs and never see any return. This ride will benefit us and help to preserve our riding freedoms. Hope you value your riding lifestyle and are willing to help protect it. Hope to see you all on February 28th in Raleigh.
