This article is from this weekend, but I have not been able to find any info on the status. Anyone know if they found the guy yet? Anyone know if the person that was hit is OK?

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY.com) — Virginia Beach police are looking for the driver of a car who they said struck a woman on a motorcycle then fled the scene.
The car struck the woman about 9:45 p.m. Friday, on Holland Road near Chimney Hill Parkway.

Loud pipes on motorcycles will draw fines in Milford
MILFORD – The theory among some motorcycle enthusiasts is that loud pipes may save lives, but in Milford, really loud pipes can cost riders a hefty fine.
The Milford Police Department has launched an assault on excessively loud motorcycles after receiving numerous complaints from businesses and residents, especially around the Milford Oval.
Motorcyclist killed after eluding police in York County

A motorcyclist, who hit the gas rather than stop for police in York County, was killed early today when he lost control and crashed, State Police said.
Sgt. Michelle Cotten, a State Police spokeswoman, identified the victim as Dustin Joe Barrack, 22, of the 300 block of Yorktown Road.

Students get motorcycle-safety lessons
Few elementary school students are riding motorcycles yet, but Utah officials are taking their motorcycle safety message to those students in hopes they’ll carry it home to their parents and older siblings.
“Children are great parent police,” Keri Gibson of the Utah Highway Safety Office said. “They will go home and encourage their parents to be safe.”
The office has taken its Ride Aware, Drive Aware campaign to 17 elementary schools across the state in response to increasing rates of motorcycle deaths on Utah roads.
NY State Police Issue 48 Tickets at MC Checkpoint

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP) — State police stopped and inspected 123 bikers heading up the Adirondack Northway, issuing 48 tickets at a safety checkpoint Friday.
Heading into the weekend leading to the Americade motorcycle rally at Lake George, the checkpoint for northbound riders lasted a few hours at the I-87 rest area in Queensbury.
Police said they issued 15 tickets for unapproved helmets, 9 for illegal exhaust pipes, 4 for unlicensed operators and 20 for other violations.
Luc Bourdon Killed in Motorcycle Crash

SHIPPAGAN, New Brunswick (AP) — Luc Bourdon, a promising rookie defenseman with the Vancouver Canucks, was killed Thursday when his motorcycle struck a tractor-trailer in a crash near his hometown. He was 21.
His death was confirmed by sister Eve Bourdon and stepmother Maryse Godin. Both declined further comment when reached at the family’s home in Shippagan.
