November 7, 2008 by Hersey
DANVILLE, VA. – VIRginia International Raceway has teamed with ace motorcycle racer Nate “N8!” Kern to offer fans an additional thrill at the day-long November 14 Holiday Laps charity event which starts at 9:00 in the morning and winds down at 4:00 that afternoon.
Nate has offered to bring his Morton’s BMW of Fredericksburg race bike, equipped for a passenger, plus leathers and helmet, and raffle off the ride of a lifetime to some lucky person. “It will actually be on the R1200S I won the National ASRA Pro Thunderbike Championship this season on,” announced Kern. Joining with Sasco’s Dave Handy, who is raffling a ride in his 1968 McLaren M6B Can-Am racer, Nate is just another of the local favorites who have stepped up to make the 2008 Holiday Laps bigger and better than ever before.
